House League (U19-U11)

Boys

Program Overview

  • The OSBA House League programs offers players an opportunity to practice once per week and play games against other local area Ottawa House League Clubs in a recreational basketball league.
  • Each year the number of House league teams that are formed is dependent on the number of registrants, coach volunteers and gym availability.
  • Players pay a registration fee and, once coaches are confirmed, players will be assigned to teams.
  • Friend-requests (maximum 1 name) can be made on the online registration form and discussed with coaches at first practice.
  • Full refunds will be provided to all fully paid registered players that we are unable to be placed onto a team.
  • All House League teams will be formed once competitive team selections have been completed.
  • Teams are separated by age and gender and are assigned one practice per week with weekend games that run from October to March Break. House League practices typically start in September.
  • A reversible, numbered jersey will be provided to all participants.

Game Locations

OSBA House League teams participate in games against teams from other local area clubs. Our program provides an opportunity for House League players from a variety of basketball associations from across the National Capital Region to play games against each other. Each team will play a 12 game schedule, 2 game guarentee playoffs and a mid year tournament which involves 2 games.  Approximately 15 practices.

Game schedules and gym locations are posted by early October once the number of interested teams in each age bracket in each participating club is known. House League teams do not travel outside of the Ottawa area for games or tournaments.
