Geoff Crampton has served as a cornerstone of the Ottawa South Basketball Association (OSBA) for over 18 years, culminating in his tenure as President. First introduced to the association through his three sons—Adam, Jordan, and Tyler—Geoff quickly found himself drawn into the world of youth basketball. What began as a supportive parent on the sidelines quickly evolved into coaching roles, volunteer efforts, and eventually, executive leadership. His passion for the sport and for community-building laid the foundation for nearly two decades of unwavering dedication.
When Geoff first became involved with OSBA, the association served approximately 150 participants. Through his steady leadership, collaborative spirit, and tireless work behind the scenes, the organization has expanded to include more than 750 participants annually across its fall, winter, and spring programming. Geoff’s influence was not limited to numbers; his patient mentorship of executive members, coaches, volunteers, and families helped foster a culture of growth, inclusion, and respect that defines OSBA today.
As Geoff steps down from his role as President effective June 30, 2025, the Ottawa South Basketball Association extends its deepest gratitude to him and his family—his wife Kim, and their sons Adam, Tyler, Jordan, and daughter Sarah. At our recent celebration, we had the opportunity to present Geoff and his family with tokens of appreciation that reflect the immense impact he has had on our community. We wish them nothing but happiness and success in the next chapter, and we thank Geoff for the legacy he leaves behind. Go South!!!!
