OSBA House League Program

The OSBA House League programs offers players an opportunity to practice once per week and play games against other local area Ottawa House League Clubs in a recreational basketball league.

Each year the number of House league teams that are formed is dependent on the number of registrants, coach volunteers and gym availability.

Players typically pay a pre-registration fee. Once coaches are confirmed players will be assigned to teams, an invoice will be sent and the balance of registration fee will be due.

All House League teams will be formed once competitive team selections have been completed.

Teams are separated by age and gender and are assigned one practice per week with weekend games that run from October to March Break.

Game Locations

OSBA House League teams participate in games against teams from other local area clubs. Midget and Junior age teams participate in games as part of the West-End Basketball League (WEBL). Atom and Bantam teams participate in games organized by the Central-Ottawa South Basketball League (COSBL).

WEBL and COSBL provide an opportunity for House League players from a variety of basketball associations from across the National Capital Region to play games against each other.

Each team will play a 12-15 game schedule which involves 1 or 2 games played on select Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. A year-end tournament is also offered for teams in each age bracket.

Game schedules and gym locations are posted by early October once the number of interested teams in each age bracket in each participating club is known.

For planning purposes, WEBL and COSBL playing dates, schedules and standings are available by clicking the appropriate link at http://www.eobaclub.com/.

House League teams do not travel outside of the Ottawa area for games or tournaments.

** Note all locations are assigned at the beginning of the season but may be subject to change depending on gym availability.
