Who is eligible to play Spring League?
U13/U14 (born in 2012/2013)
U15/U16 (born in 2010/2011)
Players must have participated in OSBA House League (A or B) or at the Competitive level up to AA.
Priority registration is given to OSBA families commencing 1 February; general registration opens to non-OSBA members opens two weeks later 14 Feb 2026)
What is Spring GYM JAM?
The Spring GYM Jam is a recreational, inclusive, and development-focused basketball program, combining 3-on-3 games and structured full-court scrimmages 5 v 5. It’s designed to give players meaningful gameplay in a fun, low-pressure environment between the end of the house league season and the start of summer.
🔁 Rotating Teams - Every Session
This is not a traditional league — there are no fixed teams.
Players are assigned new rosters each session for both 3v3 and full scrimmages
Ensures inclusive play, where all athletes get a chance to play with and against each other
Focused on fair play, development, and team-building
Coaches prepare session-by-session team assignments to ensure balance and equal play time that are based on attendance provided by 4 PM session day
🗓 Program Schedule & Locations (2026)
📅 April 6 - May 30, 2026
Five Saturday sessions at Mino Makan Public School or Steve MacLean Public School
Weekday sessions held on Mondays and/or Thursdays (location TBC but in the Riverside South area/ St FX, St Marks/ Steve McLean PS)
👟 Equipment & Jerseys
All participants will be provided with a reversible jersey as required OSBA practicipants should have from house league/Competitive practice jerseys.
For players from outside the association, a $20 jersey fee applies
Required equipment:
Youth 13-14: Size 6 basketball
Youth 15-16: Size 7 basketball
Black shorts, indoor basketball shoes, and a water bottle

$125 per participant
$20 additional jersey fee if required
